Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Agent. The Freight Agent will be responsible for sourcing and procuring transportation services, negotiating rates with carriers, tracking shipments, and managing customer relationships. The Freight Agent will work with carriers and shippers to develop transportation solutions that meet their needs while maximizing profitability for the company. And here's the best part! You will have the support of a fully functional operations team at your finger tips. They will support the truck management side of the business and empower you to focus on selling freight.
Qualifications
- Exceptional sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Familiarity with the transportation and logistics industry
- Sales and customer service experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
