Does the course expire?
No, the course does not expire; you have lifetime access. We are the only training provider who will send you a new copy to your email every time we upgrade the version of our course, ensuring you always have the latest information.
How long is the course and how long until I am certified?
Most of our students finish the actual course material within 1 to 2 weeks. However, the entire process, including completing the course, licensing, and necessary documentation to become a certified and operational freight broker, typically takes about 2 months. Because of this timeline, it’s best to start your training as soon as possible!
What happens if I fail a quiz?
No worries if you fail a quiz! You can retake any quiz as many times as you need until you pass. We are always here to help you understand the material and succeed.
Can I upgrade my course package anytime?
Yes, of course! You can upgrade your course package at any time. You will only need to pay the difference in price between your current package and the one you wish to upgrade to.
Do you provide a certificate after we finish the course?
Yes! Once you successfully pass all the quizzes in the course, we will send you a Certificate of Completion.
Is there any state exam required before I can get my freight broker license?
No, there are no state or federal examinations required to obtain your freight broker license (Authority) from the FMCSA. These training courses are created to provide you with the knowledge and skills to help you succeed in your new career as a freight broker.
Is the $300 FMCSA fee for the MC (Motor Carrier/Broker Authority) number included in the Deluxe Package?
No, the $300 application fee for your MC number is not included in the Deluxe Package (or any of our packages). This fee must be paid by you directly to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) when you apply for your operating authority.
