Our transportation company is based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We are seeking to hire new members to our team. The ideal candidates will have a team personality, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced industry, and strong communication skills to grow and sustain business relationships with customers and carriers. This position comes with a base salary along with an outstanding commission, and excellent earnings potential.

Day-to-Day Functions of the Position:

• Facilitate new customer and carrier opportunities by carrying out prospective calls and emails
• Utilize our TMS system for order building and planning, carrier monitoring, and customer relationship management
• Function as the single point of contact between customers and carriers as the product moves across the supply chain
• Communicate proactively and quickly with customers, carriers, shippers, receivers, scheduling contacts, etc. to assure proper movement of the product and on-time pick-up and delivery is met
• Develop and maintain knowledge of current market conditions and key economic indicators to have the ability to negotiate properly with customers and carriers

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 2-3 years prior Transportation/Logistics industry experience preferred; customer service, sales, or operations experience will be taken into consideration
• Freight broker experience
• Strong customer service, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to balance multiple tasks at once and schedule your time accordingly
• A sales-oriented individual with the motivation to make several outreaches via emails and calls each day
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Email, Zoom, and websites
• The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced & high-volume shipping office is a must.
• Experience using a TMS system is preferred but not required
• Book of business (highly encouraged)

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
