We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leader of Freight Brokerage to join
our team. The Freight Broker will be responsible for negotiating rates with carriers, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of success in the freight brokerage industry including building in sales team.

Responsibilities:

– Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers
– Source and secure carriers to transport freight for customers
– Negotiate rates and terms with carriers , creating a pricing dept.
– Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery
– Track and trace shipments to provide real-time updates to customers
– Resolve any issues or delays in transportation, ensuring customer satisfaction
– Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role

– Minimum of 4 years of experience in the freight
– Strong knowledge of the transportation industry, including supply chain and logistics
– Excellent negotiation and communication skills
– Ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and customers
– Proficient in using transportation management software for dispatching and tracking shipments
– Familiarity with FDA regulations for transporting perishable goods is a plus
– Strong attention to detail , and TMS systems

– Ability to work in a fast- paced environment

The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation sales and account management, with a strong understanding of carrier sales. They should be able to effectively manage customer relationships while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong sense of urgency.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
